Sox had deal done with Bay during the season according to Peter Gammons

Today things were made more clear for myself and probably most of Red Sox Nation when Peter Gammons appeared on NESN’s Hot Stove special hosted by Heidi Watney. The Sox originally offered free agent Jason Bay a 4 year deal for $60 million. Today Gammons cleared alot up saying the Sox withdrew their offer of 4 years due to a dispute of an injury.
